Memorial Day is May 26th

Also known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day is a federal holiday that is observed on the last Monday of every May. It is a time to memorialize and pay tribute to all the fallen men and women who have died serving our country while in the military. From May 5 through May 11th, our nation celebrates the beauty and wonderment of wildflower. Throughout the United States, we have a wild array of stunning wildflowers on display. To continually be reminded of just how special these flowers are, National Wildflower Week was created by the American Wildflower Society in 1988.
